Principal's Message

Dear Students:

Welcome to the Fairhope High School Family!  Many people say that no matter how much things change, some things always stay the same.  Beginning a new year of school is much like that statement.  Some things about school never change – lockers, teachers, books, report cards, homework, clubs, and athletic games.  However, some things do change – new friends, new teachers, and most importantly, new opportunities.  School is a place to learn, grow, and develop into the best person you can be by taking advantage of each new opportunity that comes your way.

Recent trends show that in order to compete in the market place, whether one is seeking immediate employment after high school or after a technical or university level education, each student must become the most skilled worker possible.  The best opportunity for acceptance by the school or job of your choice is the successful completion of a strong academic program.  We pride ourselves at Fairhope High School on the strong academic program and the variety of extra-curricular activities we offer to help you develop into a well-rounded person.

Spend the time you have in high school preparing for your dreams.  Graduation is not an end but a beginning and will come for all of you much more quickly than you realize.  Be proactive – stay actively involved in your curriculum, allow teachers, administrators, and counselors to assist you in your pursuit of your dreams.  Make this year the very best it can be!
